I really had a great time creating these beautiful ornaments. With the popularity of Gothic and Damask themes in decorating, I can think of many uses for them.
You can use them in wreaths, on frames, or even cut pieces from pretty card stock for scrap booking and other paper craft applications. The designs range from simple to a little more intricate, and I am sure there is something for everyone’s taste. They would even look cool as props for Halloween decorations and things like that.
My samples here were created out of various hardwood scraps that I had. I loved the variety of colors and looks that this offered. You could also stack cut these of plywood and either paint or finish them in a variety of ways to give them completely different looks. Check my videos for how to apply a great faux rust finish. Add rhinestones or other embellishments. Paint them in bright and pretty colors. The possibilities are just about endless!
