12 Celtic Inspired Ornaments And Pendants
Add to wishlistI really had fun creating these pretty Celtic inspired ornaments! What began as my research for some cute St. Patrick’s Day ornaments, soon turned into a wonderful journey in seeing many pretty Celtic designs. Even though the Celtic knot designs are usually a bit more dimensional, I tried to draw some shapes that would look nice on flat surfaces as well. (Although you can feel free to carve the shaping into the ornaments using a Dremel or by hand! That would make another wonderfully interesting project!)
I also liked the idea of making these ornaments in smaller sizes to use as jewelry and pendants. I tried three different sizes, and I test cut what I felt were the most difficult pieces. I was so happy with them that I decided to include all three smaller versions with this pattern, as you can try them all yourself. While the smallest designs take a bit of skill and patience, they certainly do look nice when they are completed and would make lovely pieces to give or even wear yourself.
I had to try a few beautiful crystal rhinestones to embellish them (in shades of GREEN, of course!) To me they were the perfect touch!
