I created this ornament pattern with several finishing options in mind. When one thinks of holiday / Christmas lights, many things can come to mind: bright jewel-toned lights in an array of strong colors, soft, pastel tones to cast a gentle glow, or even a monotone color theme, to match a certain theme or holiday. I honestly couldn’t say which one I liked best! For that reason, I have offered several finishing options for these beautiful ornaments. With the base of the lovely Damask scroll saw design, the rest can be up to you and you can have fun finishing them just about any way you please.
I found it easiest to offer basic, generalized finishing instructions which can be done using a variety of color palettes in this pattern. Just follow the chart that interests you the most and you are good to go!
These will not only look wonderful on a tree, but also in a Christmas wreath or tucked into a pretty garland. They would even be fun magnets for your kitchen!
