The beautiful Damask style motifs are graceful and elegant and are the perfect accent to these traditional shaped ornaments.
The pattern includes two methods of completing these ornaments – as a flat ornament or self-framing where you add a bevel cut which will allow the center motif to drop back slightly, giving the ornament depth and interest. You can see the two different styles in the sample photos.
I also included instructions for EASY painting of the frames of the bevel cut ornaments, in which you use a simple sponging technique to apply metallic paint for a stunning marbling effect. (YES!
