I’m sure many of you had some of those little green plastic army men when you were kids. I thought making some of these plant pokes on the scroll saw would be a fun throwback to those childhood memories. You could make these for yourself for fun, or for your kids or grandkids to play with. The poke would allow them to stand them up in the yard or any soft soil for playing. You could also choose to make them as fridge magnets or ornaments instead (optional version with a hanging hoop and no poke are included), or flatten the base, use thicker wood, and make them as stand-ups.
– Plant pokes are about 5.5″ tall each. Ornaments are about 3″
