Like all of our self-framing scroll saw patterns, these designs are cut from one piece hardwood. The inner oval is cut with the scroll saw tilted slightly which allows it to recess back, creating a framed look. A thin plywood backer is then added to the middle oval. Color can be added by painting the backer.
