The primitive country look makes painting him and shaping him a breeze, and this is a great piece to introduce you to the art of segmentation. I found some cute rusty wire that finished his look at my local craft store/jewelry supplier. It was the perfect accent for the pumpkin tendrils, as well as a great way to attach the stars the crow is carrying in his beak.
The addition of a couple of shiny rhinestones in the centers of the stars really added a nice final touch of glimmer to the piece. After all – we all know that crows are attracted to shiny objects!
