This deer napkin holder set would look great in any rustic kitchen or dining room. You can make it with a contrasting veneer backer as shown in the sample photos, or you can choose to use a 1/8″ thick plywood backer and paint it in a color that goes with your decor. The plaque is small at 6.25″ in diameter, but you can easily enlarge it to any size you like which would also make it easier to cut. This is a relatively easy pattern to make on the scroll saw but may be a bit tough for an absolute beginner.

If you plan to make the napkin holder with a laser engraver, you will have to take it upon yourself and get creative with wood choices and assembly since ~1/2″ thick wood is needed for sturdiness.
