This unique cake stand design features optional fretwork details on the tray area and is inspired by my “Classic Collection” baskets. Two different slat designs are included so you can make the one you like best. You can see the both versions in the second sample photo.
The top is nearly 10.5″ diameter. You could get a 10″ piece of glass cut into a circle if you want an elegant solution to protect the wood. Alternatively, you should be able to find foil, glass or paper platters at the dollar store that could do the job. 1/2″ thick wood is used throughout this design.
