This pattern makes a lovely set of seasonal signs that you can rotate throughout the year. You can make the back layer out of thick wood so you can display these as stand-up pieces, or if you use thin wood for both layers, you can hang these up on the wall. There is also an optional rectangular base included that you can glue on for stability if you like.
If you wish to paint these in all different colors as shown in the first picture, I would like to point out that this will be a bit time consuming since I can’t think of an easy way to do it. You will need to mark each area to be painted by tracing the front layer onto the back layer and then carefully hand painting slightly beyond those traced lines.
