These beautiful holiday ornaments and plaques will make a wonderful addition to your Christmas decorations!
Each set consists of six traditional style self-framing ornaments and six matching self-framing mini-plaques which in themselves would make wonderful projects and gifts. This 12 page pattern includes nine full color step-by-step photographs, as well as eight color pictures of the finished projects. The instructions also include your choice of two finishing methods – finishing the ornaments and plaques naturally and allowing the beauty of the wood show through, or using an easy sponging technique on the frames of the pieces to give them a burst of color. (You do this with a sea sponge and acrylic paints – NO brushes needed!)
This is an intermediate to advanced scroll saw pattern however, the larger version is quite easy to make and a great stepping stone to learning some new techniques and building on your scroll sawing ability. You can find set 2 in the product links below.
