This seasonal Christmas project can be cut from thicker wood (about 3/4″) and displayed as a free standing piece, or you can make it as a two-layered sign with thinner wood. Both examples are shown in the sample photo. Of course you could make the sign version without a back layer too if you wanted.
The pattern has a lot of options. Line work is included for including a base on the stand-up piece for stability, and two sizes are also provided.
