You will love making these simple and elegant angel ornaments. These are each made of two pieces of thin wood – one for the wings and the other for the angels themselves – to give them a detailed and dimensional look. The detail lines are done using a simple veining scroll saw technique, which is simply ‘drawing with the blade’. You cut into the wings, etc. to add the detail lines and back out the saw. What is left is the kerf line which accents the pieces beautifully. I purposely kept the lines in these beautiful girls simple so that even a beginner can cut them successfully. And they are great for stack cutting and making multiple pieces for shows and sales!
The pattern includes cutting and EASY painting instructions for you to follow – or choose your own colors. I know you are going to have fun making lots of these ornaments!
