This large detailed Nativity scroll saw & laser engraver pattern is made using three layers and is also divided into three sections. Each of the sections is 7″ to 8″ wide. The front layer consists of the roman-style frames and all of the figures. The middle layer outlines the front layer, and adds trees and the manger. Then finally, the back layer outlines all of it and adds the accent windows in the top area.
Due to the size and number of layers, you will need approximately 2′ x 3′ of high quality 1/8″ plywood such as Baltic birch to make it. You could use hardwood if you really wanted, but you will likely need a bit thicker, and you do run the risk of warping.
– approx. 16.5″ tall x 24″ wide with the gaps (each section is 7 to 8 inches wide)
