This cute springtime basket box will certainly cheer up your home after a long, cold winter. You could fill it with some lightly scented potpourri, or some brightly colored candies, or even give it filled with jellybeans on Easter morning. The fun design is easy to cut, and is a great way to use up those smaller scraps of wood. You don’t have to be very fussy about the thickness of your wood, and you can add or subtract layers as you see fit. I also included a pattern for a smaller egg shaped box that can be cut from your thinner scraps of wood, like those left over from ornaments.
The extra little flowers can be cut from the thicker waste pieces from the inside rings. They make fun accessories that create a delightful vignette of pieces!
