This intricate lighted Victorian fretwork clock is great for a bedroom where it can double as a nightlight or in a living room, where it is sure to get your guests’ attention. The step-by-step instructions are clear, thorough, and offer several options, including an option for making the entire clock without a router or table saw if you don’t have access to them. For the colored glass you can use 1/16″ to 1/8″ thick colored Plexiglas, or you can use glass stain to color your own which will give many more colors to chose from (DecoArt brand GLS04-Orange was used in the example). The clock fits a standard clock movement and uses a press-fit nightlight cord with a 4 watt bulb for lighting. This is an intermediate level scroll saw pattern.
