Each section of this scroll saw project fits on an easy to find width of wood and is a comfortable overall size for scrolling. Each has its own painted Baltic birch backers and are held together with a pair of narrow strips cut from the same wood and painted to match the backers. I do encourage you to join them in other creative ways. Many people have made these designs and I have seen some beautiful examples.
