Our self-framing designs utilize a bevel cut when separating the inner oval from the outer part which allows it to recess back producing a nice framing effect. This makes effective use of your wood to minimize waste. You can then add a thin plywood or veneer backer. This is an intermediate level scroll saw pattern.

SVG Laser Cut File: A vector SVG cut file for laser engravers which includes our "Small business production" license. These files can also be use with a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut paper cutting machine and with some adaptation could be used for other uses such as a CNC router. The scroll saw instructions will also be included to help with any assembly and wood suggestions.
