A wonderfully challenging filigree heart plaque that uses a bevel cut to recess the inner oval from the frame. You can make it as shown in the photo with a stained plywood backer to add some color to the heart, you could also add a backer to the frame too if you wish, you could go your own way using the heart section as an overlay for another project or build the frame to use as as a picture frame. This is an intermediate to advanced scroll saw pattern.
