A great thanksgiving project that could also be used all year long. Since it is self-framing, the whole project is cut from a single piece of hardwood. A bevel cut is used to make the inner rectangle recess in the frame. Painted Baltic birch backers can then be added to accentuate the fretwork and lettering. This scroll saw pattern is a bit challenging although it may not look it. The small letters are fussy since it’s very easy to cut outside the line slightly and make one letter look more bold than the rest.
