Honey bees are fascinating and such an important species if our environment. Bee designs also seem to be quite popular and this should make a nice selling finished piece. You can create this lovely framed plaque out of one piece of wood by using a simple bevel cut to recess the inner portrait section from the frame. (A separate piece of thin plywood is used for the backers). I think this scroll saw project would make a lovely accent any home or summer cottage which has a rustic or wildlife theme.
