Like all of our “self framing” patterns, the main part of this beaver plaque is cut from one piece hardwood. Color can be added by painting thin plywood to use as a backer. The inner oval is cut with the scroll saw tilted slightly which allows it to recess back, creating a framed look. This particular design is a bit more challenging than the rest of the series since the beaver was done in more of a portrait style.

Scroll Saw PDF: A downloadable PDF pattern with instructions for cutting on a scroll saw. Not intended for use with laser engravers.

SVG Laser Cut File: A vector SVG cut file for laser engravers which includes our "Small business production" license. These files can also be use with a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut paper cutting machine and with some adaptation could be used for other uses such as a CNC router. The scroll saw instructions will also be included to help with any assembly and wood suggestions.
