These little scroll saw box is quick and easy to make, and can be used in a variety of ways. They make the perfect candy dish for your Christmas decor, or to give as a gift for someone who has ‘everything’.
These designs are layered using smaller scraps of wood. This is a great way to use up those smaller pieces laying around your shop! Because of the easy construction, slight differences in thicknesses of the wood are inconsequential, and add to the interest and beauty of the designs. I also liked using my thin hardwood pieces as an overlay on the box lids, which made them fun and easy to cut.
As a bonus, I included two matching ornaments with each box. All numerals are included in the patterns so you can use them year after year too!
