This design combines traditional scroll sawing with simple segmentation to make a fun and dimensional picture frame. The small overlay segmentation pieces are a great way to introduce yourself to the segmentation process, using only your scroll saw and a Dremel or other rotary tool. You could also choose to make them using different woods as intarsia if you wanted. The overlay pieces can also double as small lapel pins or refrigerator magnets.
