This delightful bunny rabbit toy replica is not only attractive as a home decor accent, but is fun to build. This wonderfully comprehensive scroll saw pattern includes detailed instructions and step-by-step photos.

As I often do, I decided to not only make a natural colored version of the bunny, but also several pretty pastel bunnies using DecoArt’s Chalky Finish paint. Chalky Finish paint is a new product by DecoArt that has an ultra-matte finish. It is water based, which means easy clean up and no odor, but doesn’t need any prep or primer and has excellent adhesion. It is available in 29 vintage colors and is extremely durable. Not only is it great for small projects such as these bunnies, but it is also wonderful for use on re-purposed furniture and accessories. You can read more about it at DecoArt’s website here: https://decoart.com/americana-decor/chalky-finish/

Of course, you can substitute just about any of your favorite paint to make this project. The techniques shown here will work with just about any acrylic paint you have on hand. No matter how you finish them, you will want to make an entire litter of cute bunnies!

This projects is not intended for use as a children’s toy. It is for decorative purposes only!
